Watch out for that one. It would get very messy if they tried to widen the restrictions based on that law, but that could easily be construed to refer to cells, cotton, concentrates, wire, anything used to make liquid or assemble a mod/atty. Ugly corruption at its’ finest.

Makes you wonder how they could pull that off, considering how so many of those things have non vape related uses.

BINGO! Been a firm belief/suspicion for a long time now for me. All about Trade War B.S. I remember reading like 98’ish something % of it comes from China, that’s when it clicked for me also.

I dig. I thought it was more specifically “atomizer” and not the bits and bobs used in rebuilding- the generic things that have many other uses. Sleazy little buggers, them.
I do not like using UPS but I know a few companies that do ship e cig materials via ups… :’(

Yeah, I can live with losing USPS as an option…
But if they try to make this stand against independent carriers, you best BELIEVE that it will go to the Supreme Court (IF such a thing were to pass).

Well, if you mean “assuming a USA point of origin”… No.
To my knowledge (from the point of view of a retail business), there’s really only DHL, FedEx and UPS.
There are other carriers (mostly freight, and some forwarders), but I seriously doubt that they would be a realistic or viable option for “small orders” like DIY uses. Most of those are looking at massive shipments (even a $500 order would be laughable to most freight agents IMO).

When they made it illegal to ship cigarettes via USPS, Federal Express and UPS followed suit. This is the END they seek through this legislation. The taxes and the flavor ban, etc are nothing if there is no legal means to ship the products. Welcome to vaping prohibition 2019/2020, they are going to see a hella black market emerge. {I guess they will make certain allowances for Big Tobacco to ship their approved devices } Fuck this country.

It makes me think- what if I found vaping today rather than 4 years ago? What if I found that the government was saying it is killing people? What if it was difficult or super expensive to find the stuff needed to vape long term? Would I then have been so willing to trade vaping for smoking? Probably not. And that’s the real shame. The goal of killing vaping has the effect of leading untold numbers of people to their deaths by taking away a viable alternative that could well save or greatly enhance the quality of their lives. It’s one thing (albeit a very important thing) to consider it from the general public’s view. But it could have been me or my wife that was kept from quitting smoking, that’s infuriating.
The above is not new news of course, but it borders on tragedy in all honesty. And that they not only continue this assault, but to do it in the name of public health? It’s galling and nauseating.

Guess I’m going to need to buy a couple dual battery wattage mods to put away too now. I just broke open a Sig 150 that I had as a back-up to the original one that lasted me over 5 years. Anyone know the most reliable ones out there (no frills/no tc needed) - Rda’s last like forever but the screws strip eventually and replacement ones are hard to find. I really can’t believe this shit.

Absolutely, That is an entirely different industry. They simply are not equipped for small package, residential delivery. Their business models are based established scheduled routing whereby they can fill a semi in a single dispatch.
