Petty much. They are basically issuing themselves the authority to ban the transportation of any damn thing they want to. As always with no thought as to what that activity might constitute in logistics or ramifications.
Absolutely! Great description of the constraints in building for a mech!! I just ordered spools of odd gauge SS just for this purpose. Amazing how detailed this hobby can get.
Probably, lol, but at the same time I get the tangent of putting together a “last for a lifetime” mod given the circumstances. I just purchased a PURGE. Something I thought I would never do.
Smoky even tho she can mix some fantastic juices… still needs help with spelling and understanding at times Good catch!
Im still looking at that one too…
That art work doe…
I agree… can it be removed??
Everything I’ve been getting from China has not been labeled for vape anything and have had an individual’s name and return address on them for at least a year now. They knew this was coming.
I haven’t ordered from Fasttech or Gear Box in the last year, but have they been doing this too?
I quit ordering from gearbest but yes any other ft, 3f, and others are. I have a nice collection of toy remote controllers and grave locks. One of these days I’m going to look up what that is.
Just noticed you wrote gear box, haven’t used them. Many will put what you prefer on the label upon request.
Yeah, meant “gearbest” - senility is setting in I’m afraid
They are publicizing this bill by calling it strongly bipartisan and that it is geared to ensure that children do not have access to e-cigarettes, many of the national publications are framing the bill as mandating an adult signature requirement on the delivery end. These are all lies, what they are doing is making commercial transport (initially via USPS) illegal. The association for convenience stores naturally is supporting this legislation. Now that the bill has been ramrodded through the House, I wonder how long it will take to come up for a vote in the Senate. They are all screwing around looking for a way to ban the non BT vape industry and it looks to me they may have found the winning insidious ticket.
I recall this very same legislative routine taking place (with cigarettes, and RYO tobacco) around 2009.
They are simply adding the new language into the “law” you mention! i.e. (2) in section 2A(b)(1) (15 U.S.C. 376a(b)(1)), by inserting “NICOTINE/” after“CIGARETTES/”.
I remember when (after smoking Craven ‘A’ cigarettes for years), my for quite a few years standby (Peter Stokkebye Danish Export RYO Tobacco) went from ~$15 per 10.6 oz to ~$100 for the same - as a result of ~2009 federal as well as a state 95% (of retail price) taxes. The “bi-partisan” motto of the Therapeutic State has been “bend over”! Still waiting for phony “Libertarian Profiles in Courage” from these Legislative Worms
I remember in the early 80’s selling Churchill sized Macanudos and Royal Jamaicans for a buck or so each in the smoke shop I managed …they are like $20 each now. Craven A’s were about $1.75/pack wholesale back then and imported RYO tobacco was cheaper than dirt. (I looked the Mac’s are about $12 each when you buy them by the box) - How come premium cigars escape the transport ban??? I wonder… lol
When I started buying Craven 'A’s in the early 1980’s, cartons were $10 (even, incl. taxes) at the local shop. Switched to PS RYO Tobaccos in the early 1990s to reduce costs. (At least), my DYI NET vaping (has) been far less expensive over the last ~17 months. Am stocked for years (as long as my extracts and VG hold in over time and temperatures, and my refrigerator with some Nicotine stored therein doesn’t go bust).
Prolly my numbers are off after all these years, but they weren’t expensive. I was buying ciggs at shop cost for about $1.00/pack for Marlboros back then.
When I was in the 3rd grade as a kid, we lived in Durham, NC. The sweet smell from the nearby Cigarette factory filled the air when we would go outside at recess. One day, we took a field-trip to one of the Cigarette factories to see the manufacturing processes and the happy employees making coffin-nails. Cigarettes were a mere 25 Cents per pack at that time - and Green Stamps (remember those ?) could probably be saved-up for an Iron Lung. Of course, I was going to live forever, so I spent them on more trivial rewards.
