NY- 60 years of nicotine in deep freeze

That’s just it. After watching loved ones die from cigarettes I just can’t let them get away with this. We might want to start thinking of organizing a major march on Washington.

Ya that would be great but those rallys were very dismal it would take one helluva an organizer and a lot of money …I thought itnwould have been smarter to have 2 rallies at the same time one in Washington DC and the other somewhere on the west coast

The major orgs like Casaa, AVA, VTA, TVECA, SAFTA, et al. There are more than 50 pro-vaping groups. Heck the Women’s March pulled together in a short period of time that ran around the globe.

Get a load of this:

Thanks for this post. Vaping is a political football and I get so tired of hearing and seeing the negative press. “If it looks like smoking, it must be just like smoking.” seems to be the opinion of many folks. Very sad. It is like saying, “People drown in water. Anything associated with water should either be banned or heavily regulated. Need to drink water, then get a prescription from your doctor and get it filled at the pharmacy. Oh, and because of the potential danger, you are limited to 8oz at a time. Oh, and because it MUST be regulated, we are going to tax it at a very high tax rate.”

I need to stop ranting, but the way so many people and so much of the media portray vaping, I get very ticked off.

Aside from the idiots who believe the politicians, the politicians themselves know the truth. They just don’t want to lose their Big Tobacco Settlement money they get every year from their tobacco sales. When cigarette sales dropped after ecigs hit the scene that was the beginning of the war against vaping.

It’s simple, follow the money. All else is a pile of crap.

It will come down to a community effort if we all want to stay quit from cigarettes. I can think of a couple guys that would help a brother or sister out in a bind without any freeloading.
Just remember you gallon buyers : I have kept my Nic at -15°f for the last 7 years at the bottom of a deep freezer. If you cannot keep it below zero it will not last. I tried keeping a couple pint Boston glass bottles in the regular side by side freezer in the kitchen and they both turned pink after 4 months and that freezer like most kitchen combos is at 10 to 15°f

Great advice …I kept my inside a freezer door for awhile until I got a dedicated freezer. I was lucky enough to be able to switch quick

That’s the sum of it. A billion dollar cottage industry versus a trillion dollar tobacco industry with crap disposable vapes that won’t get a guy off cigs and actually cost more. I hate buying China but I sure hope they’ll keep bootlegging gear through Chinapost past the nosy USPS jerks. My RtAs and mods can’t last forever.

Why would they do that? From what I’ve heard, apparently adults don’t like flavors!

Just in case @TorturedZen, I’ve got your six.

Is that a typo? The only other life form I have heard (read) saying that is our resident Ogre @SmilingOgre

My exact thinking too but I don’t have enough money to buy like that. I’ll be worried about myself and a few people I mix for but I would like to be able to help if it is needed.

True

That is a question I have been asking for several years now. I for one will not go back to smoking and I am sure a large number of people will be just like that. I am guessing the new vapers are the ones that might have an issue with it.

Good to see you brother @anon70102222

Made more sense to me with the typo in place.

Course to someone who drinks snakes blood and wears puny human skulls as jewelry, it would

Hmmm. I’ve read through the majority of the posts.

  1. Do I think it’s fair to buy enough nic to cover 60 years. Sure, do what you like if you are trying to cover yourself. Hell, if I had the storage space I would do so. At this point I think I have enough to cover a couple years.

  2. Would I dislike the possibility of someone buying that much to hurt others buy reducing supply and hoping to profit later from it in the black market? Hell yeah, but I would get bent over it. If you are a diy’er and you didn’t start stalking up weeks ago at a minimum it’s your own damn fault for not participating in the forums (here, and ecf, Vu, ect). Seriously, the writing has been on the wall for a couple months. Shit, I posted a screen shot of an email communication prior to Valentine’s Day from LB where they said they would stop shipping in a couple weeks.

So yeah, I’m not going to grammar check. Lol. Have fun reading the above. On a side note @fidalgo_vapes you should start charging enough to profit at 10-15% so you can invest in the hobby and process. At that rate the prices should still be cheap enough for people to buy.

i had thought about buying a bunch of nic. to sell later at a profit, and/or make juice and sell for a profit. the only person that would get my stuff for free would be my wife and my mom, neither of which vape.

but, the bad thing is = i couldn’t sell ice cubes in hell.

I get where you’re coming from. Unfortunately here in the states we don’t have the luxury of having until Oct to stock up. Our ban goes into effect in a few weeks. They signed it into law at the very end of Dec so we only had a couple months to prepare whereas you still have 8 months to go. Granted I’m not gonna go all out and buy 60 yrs worth, I’ll be dead by then but a 10-25 yr supply you bet your bottle dollar I will.. Also, all my non-DIYer friends had absolutely no idea the ban was coming until either I told them or they started getting the email notifications from the company’s they buy their juices and coils from and asked me about it. Granted this doesn’t impact the nic shortage you’re concerned with but it could impact other areas.
