There will be a lot of pain and agony, but eventually that spider will die from it
Yea here they are nothing to be concerned about at all. I dont mind holding them and catching them, but thats coz i live here iv held trantulas, but i wouldnt hold the ones that bite to kill lol. Id stear clear from them too!
OK KIDS Iām Back. Yep I ended up in the hospital. Not sure what it was that bit me but it displayed the symptoms of a blackwidow according to the Dr. Iāll never understand how they expect you to get better in a room that is barely above freezing, my god the rooms in that place were cold. I was beginning to think I was in the mrogure as cold as it was. Man was I lucky I got there just in time to avoid the ICU. Gallons of IVs later and about 20 pills and Iām home kinda shot to hell but Iām home and on he mend.
@GPC2012 I think i speak for everyone when i say iām happy you are back home and on the mend. You take care now and iāll send some positive thoughts your way.
I was laying on the couch one night watching televisionā¦ didnāt have a shirt on. Iāve got pretty long hair and am used to feeling it on my shoulders. I felt a little ticklingā¦ didnāt think much about it until my peripheral vision kicked in and saw a huge spider on my shoulder. Talk about a mini heart attack. Screamed, jumped up, ran into the coffee table. Wifey thought I was nuts.
Thanks to you and to everybody for caring about me so much. Itās nice to have such a wonderful family here. It amazes me how close you can become to someone youāve never physically met before.
Glad youāre doing better!
Glad your home get well
I have to repeat what they all said, glad youāre feeling better and back again.
So glad to hear you are back home and on the mend everyone has been worried about you.
lmao (not at the spider) but being fairly new here, I guess I sort of assumed that Anony"miss" you were of the female persuasion. I was more interested in you laying on the couch without a shirt . lmao
I was reading it as Ms. Tokens myself lol
And yes I am 100% female
oops lol. The MS is for Mississippi and the tokens comes from collecting casino tokens from years ago. Maybe I should change it to Mrtokens.
lol well that makes sense.
Damn brother, I kept reading the posts and no replies from youā¦was getting really worried. Iām happier than you-know-what to see you posting again!. Welcome back!
When I first moved here, I was taking a shower and felt something crawling on my shoulder. Now back then I was in possession of a few marbles still so I was taking the shower without my glasses on (as people do). Of course without my glasses, Iām about as vision-capable as Mr Magoo so I just brushed whatever it was off and continued. Afterwards, I happen to look in the tub and there were two widows trying to crawl out. I scooped them out with a cup and tossed them out into the yard. Since then (13 years ago) Iāve probably tossed out a couple dozen of them from inside the house. Never been bit. I guess we have an understanding. Donāt bite - donāt die. Hopefully theyāll always keep that in mind.
When I worked at the homeless shelter, a guy came in from camping in the open desert and had come across a nest site and I guess the eggs had recently hatched. He was bitten a number of times and had to be flown to the hospital by helicopter. It was really bad. Guess the baby bites are worse because they inject the full load of venom at once.
Never heard what happened to him.
Good to hear from you! Glad you didnāt actually end up in the morgue!!
Lmfaoā¦ I read mstokensā post and was picturing (maybe picturing is the wrong word hereā¦) a shirtless lesbian. I guess I got that quite wrong!
Noted: @mstokens is a dude.
(Hopefully you donāt take offense to thatā¦ None is intended )
