I have to agree with your points in the main. I have only tested 10 different concentrates from the range so far, and although impressed with most of them. I think the name ‘Super Concentrates’ give people an expectation of what these could be or should be in there minds even before they have mixed with them, rightly or wrongly
Personally I would put these flavours on a par with Flavourart, Flavorah, Atmos Labs and Inawera in that the majority of flavours work at low percentages to produce a strong, robust finished flavour in most cases and Walt has produced a range of flavours single and one shots, that are different to what are currently available from most other suppliers.
I am only speaking from a personal note here, but I have been mixing for 5 years now, I have tried 500+ flavours from different manufacturers in that time (and tested every single one individually) and what I have discovered in that time. I find it much easier to mix a decent finished mix of flavours where the majority or all the flavours are from Capella, TPA or FW and mixed in the 8-15% range. FA, INW or RFSC all great as standalones . or using their creams, enhancers or tobaccoes and the occasional individual fruit flavour in general mixes. But to make a mix solely from these brands is so much more difficult than the likes of TPA and Capella that require higher %'s, but are easier to work with in a mix and whose single flavours don’t tend to dominate in a finished mix, like the stronger finished concentrates can and do, when mixed together. Making it harder to identify the individual flavours in a mix, because they are so powerful and that is the case in even there own multi flavoured one shot concentrates, I find, also.
I will buy these RF SC if a flavour interests me again, but in the main my expectations, it will be for a flavour that I would use as a standalone or is already a completed one shot type finished flavour and not so much as a mixer, the same as I do with FA and INW.
As I said just a personal view, but one that I have now come to, from my own personal experiences. over the years.
p.s. As a side note, I bought my RFSC flavours expecting similar type flavours and an extraction process equivalent to, or the same as Medicine Flower. It became quickly apparent though this was not the case, once I had sampled a couple of them. But here in the UK these RF flavours are priced at £1.99 compared to £2.50 for INW £2.99 for Favorah and £3.20 for Flavourart so are very competitively priced against these 3 manufacturers and should do well hopefully, based on the price point and the quality of the finished product.
