I’m digging the profile and have a lot of flavoring options here to pick from. But, like you mentioned, Although I know I can make some rad blind remixes, I can’t get my hands on the original to compare even if I wanted too. I just went to make some tea and get in the lab for a crack at profile and had an accident with boiled water that blew the whole circuit to that part of the house. 
Going to wait till daylight to get down in the cellar and get it sorted.

Yes, it’s a very interesting profile, there’s a lot of people who hate grape but love this, but it is done in a very subtle way, it’s so not like your typical cheap green grapey piss, this is deep, dark, sweet and complex. What gets me is how well the artwork captures and invokes what I think of when vaping this stuff. He’s put a lot of work into these juices.

So after watching this review I think for the 2nd time actually

and plenty of other things that Eddie1z has said that I share similar thoughts with…
That recipe looks like a solid original base. Pretty simple breakdown here. FA Blackcurrant main, TFA Blackberry darkens it back up after adding the Fuji, while adding another berry. TFA DF adds a twist and emulsifies what is essentially a simple recipe.
But @6.75% it is no where near 20%. Now that reviewer said that the Blackcurrant isn’t overly in your face. Although subjectively his opinion, how would we get to anywhere near 20% total(assuming there really is about 20% total). Well, as previously stated multiple times, a high amount of FA Forest Fruit would definitely fit here because it already has a healthy dose of FA BC at 3.5%. FF just adds to it(BC is clearly in FF)with the rest of the berry medley. Now he never mentioned tasting Apple in the review, only the tropical-ish aspect. I feel like we can surmise that Fuji with DF together is what he was talking about here. It could it be that TFA DF pushed up since it is not really in your face kind of flavor combined with FF taking up most of that total missing %. Or, Did Mr. Jay take the DF idea and I’ll take it beyond like Eddie1z with Cap DF suggestion and used INW DF. They both are quite unique. This is also why this is so hard not having a clue yet for some reason I’m so easily lead down a rabbit hole.
I will say, even though I can’t even get the original here and I think Eddie1z would be great hands outside my own to get the juice into. I don’t blame Eddie1z with access for not spending hard earned money on it either. One being, we have all the flavorings and can make anything based on the profile to fit the taste tailored to our own pallet. So really the only reason would be to confirm or deny suspicions, completing this mission for another, and sense of accomplishment.

Agreed, part of it is too when you said you tried it but at what unknown percentages is key. If you trying it completely out of spec of what we would suggest, this will not provide the answers one needs to be successful.

Dude, don’t let that 20% fool you. Let’s say the standard 1shots are 15 or 20%, and his recipe is an actual lowly 6.75%. What’s he gonna do? Say mix at that % (and have users think it’ll be weak) or add PG and say mix at 20%. YES, they do that.

the PG % is not a good metric i do see alot of people trying to use this as some kind of guide, its misleading

Oh I’m sure, and I tried to portray that without saying it. I also been involved with a lot of commercial juice and 20%+ was super common as well. I’m about to mix up the simple, leaked recipe and see what I think but I’m pretty confident things are missing.

What I have decided to do is send out a bottle of Black vine concentrate to Eddie1z for him to have a crack it.
Basically told him no pressure, not expecting miracles, just simply have a go, see what you think. Maybe he’ll be able to describe things about this juice that I can’t.
The problem is I’m struggling massively with this and iv’e decided not to post anymore recipes for now, because I sometimes feel like I’m close but then it turns out I’m actually not and fear It’d send people down the wrong path if I did. I’ve eaten my words so much I’ve given myself verbal diarrhoea!
The flavours seem like they’re close to what I think are being used in this liquid, It’s hard to know what ratio, what am I missing, especially with a lack of experience in all these flavours. Iv’e gone through sample after sample and still feel like I’m getting nowhere.

So I did yesterday, and I think if I someone handed it to me, and didn’t know what was in it, I think I would say there was grape in it. Maybe it was placebo from reading everything in this thread but I think I would say that. Overall the juice was ok but the Blackberry was stomping its feet pretty hard and felt this needed more Blackcurrant. The Fuji was hanging around regardless of the blending the DF was doing here. It was kind of thin and lacked a wow factor for sure. Decent fruity mix.

So this off the shake was much more commercial ready. The FF really boosted the BC and added the mystery berries. I was going to wait on adding a grape but knowing the changes so well I just sent it. The grape really sent this grape and immediately made me think 2 drops was one too many. 
The yogurt just thickened it up, plain and simple. The vanilla just adds to the complexity and makes this much better without really knowing it’s there too. The juice now has the body it so much needed and it lingers and coats my mouth. 
As I sit here and vape this, the grape is kind of chilling out and this is pretty dang good.

Yes, this was pretty much what i started with (fa fuji, b’currant + cap c’grape) & built from that, heres where im at atm -
This is fantastic as it is tbh, im vaping it right now, however, until i actually try the black vine i wont know where ther recipe stands in comparison (EDIT - & if im being totally honest i wouldnt say this is quite there yet as far as being a highly praised “commercial” liquid? It is really nice recipe/eliquid though but it would need polishing up), this recipe has been built/developed based off of speedee’s description, the websites description & reviews, to me it does actually taste like the picture on the website too but i wont know how it compares until i try the OG. I do also think the forest fruit might need bumping 1 or 2% but again, only based on descriptions, either way its a nice recipe.
Also note the tfa sweetener definitely makes a difference compared to supersweet, if you only have supersweet i wouldnt go higher than 0.5% personally, the maltol in tfa sweetener really works well with the low% of vanilla swirl to help enhance that slight powdered sugar texture right on the finish & i think this really helps with that “moreish” sensation?
I will keep the thread updated with any progress & do my best to help decsribe/explain anything about the eliquid that may help people pick out flavours that sound like they fit, & if anyone else wants to help/try/gets any ideas please do feel free to jump in.

Yeah ours are pretty close, Did you ever try it with the TFA Blackberry?
The TFA Blackberry is a lot better in it with the 6% of FF. The .4 of WF Grape Juice turned out fine and .4 Pur SS is plenty sweet for me. I already killed the 11mls I made earlier. I’m not even sure what I would change.

Yeah same, the only thing i think with mine is bumping the FF from 5% to 6 or 7% just because everyone says its more forward, but its still extremely nice with it at the 5%. But just as a recipe i dont think i would actually change anything?
No i havent tried one with tfa blackberry yet i dont have it anymore, i have tried a version with ssa raspberry blackberry though & that was really nice too, before i alter my recipe any further though i am going to wait to try the og to see if i can push mine toward it or i have to start again? If i have to start again i will probably just make my own recipe public & call it something else, then make another “remix” version public under “black vine clone/remix”. Theres also a few more flavours i need to order more of because im out/low, tfa dragonfruit i used the last few drops the other day & cap blackcurrant i probably have about 10ml left, so ill throw in tfa, cap & fw blackberry + whatever else i think i might need with that order.
But yeah that is awesome stuff though buddy, not sure if you saw my comment in the actual recipe but either way thats not public so -
I really do appreciate the time & effort you have put in here & you have been/are a very helpful individual so i just wanted to say thanks a lot brother👌.
Also thanks to everyone else that has been helping out/getting involved along the way, when/if we make a version public thats close to the original, anyone that helped/contributed etc will be credited (unless they dont want their names mentioning of course, i will ask permission beforehand).

I mixed up more unchanged.
I love INW Blackcurrant but I agree with SpeedeeVape that any amount would change this for sure. I find that flavor pretty strong and bullyish. I have a feeling based on the 4 flavor starting point that it’s more of a natural type juice. I have everything you mentioned except the Silverline BC you have in your recipe. I can’t think of another blackberry I’d rather use as it seems like the goal is to stay more natural and I found it worked after adding more support.
I’m just now seeing your comments on my recipe, I had no idea you could comment on a private recipe. 
I appreciate the nice words and I don’t know if I was much help but I really enjoy getting in on the fun. I love the team effort and it shows there is a lot of talent here. I’ll never have a problem with someone mentioning me but would never expect any recognition.

Yeah, I put just .25% of INW Blackcurrant in one mix…yeah, no! In the pish pot that went lol
I must say it’s absolutely fantastic the traction and interest this has gained, thank you to all that are involved. It’s a wonderful profile, and if a good clone comes out of this, it’ll be enjoyed by many I am sure, especially for those who have no access to the original. Even the blind remixes are looking good!

I think INW Dragon fruit (pitaya) could be good in this but it’s definitely going to change it and I would go lower than the TFA. But I have a feeling it’s not in original and it makes since it’s not mentioned or in the cover art as TFA isn’t really discernable while vaping imo.

I tried to search for this on his channel and got a bunch of others like The Midnight Oil, Lemon Meringue, Crimson Seed, , etc. He mentions Black Vine in the 2 I watched but no specific review found.
But I don’t even know if I want too after how clueless he sounded about American yogurt and his experience mixing them. How it was imperative that he had to let Kasiandora Cream steep a week by only adding nic otherwise a total different experience?

I have never understood why some vape reviewers are adamant about things like this because honestly i dont see what benefits steeping nicotine would have. Other than the aim to increasing throat hit with freebase? I can make sense of this if its for a tobacco eliquid to add to the overall experience & all, but steeping nicotine in an already fully matured fruit/cream eliquid seems pointless to me? Unless im missing/overlooking something else?
