I’ve been in love with my RDA for Vaping for the past few months. I got a black Cloud Cap set for it months ago. It’s really a top notch RDA.
I decided to get a couple more caps for it.
The stainless steel ones weren’t much, like fifteen bucks. They’re nice and well worth it. The white ones are powder coated. The 24mm white one looks like crap on one side. They weren’t sealed so I thought the coil turds guy would’ve inspected them. It’s got divots in the paint coating or whatever and little black fibers that are dried into it. What the hell? The white set costed $35 so I thought they’d be super nice. I might email the guy but I’m afraid he’ll say they all have minor blemishes. I heard he’s a good dude so maybe he’ll let me trade it for one that looks better.
I tried to get photos but the white makes it hard to see in photos.
Am I tripping or is that unacceptable considering the price? ($35)

Oh, I would absolutely email him. I can see the blemishes in the pictures. Can’t hurt to ask him to either replace or refund.

None of the Coilturd products come sealed. Beecher is a good guy and will reply. The coating is done offsite by Palmers Powders. He does all the coating for Mterk, Twisted Messes etc.
It’s a great RDA, one of my favorites.

It’s a PITA at first but I got used to it. That is, of course, if you are talking about the up and down button. If that isn’t what you mean then, what don’t you like?

I think it’s because the paint kinda damaged there near the fire button

It looks like a piece of tape was put on it while the purple finish was setting or whatever. Then the piece of tape was ripped off of it leaving a strip of unattractiveness right by the fire button.

Update on my Coilturds RDA situation. I told him about the cap and he apologized and offered a refund. I told him I mainly wanted him to be aware of what the powder people did and said I didn’t need a refund. He refunded me anyways. It was before I even attached photos so really cool guy.

Yep, Pete’s correct. It’s a Coilart Mage V2. I’ve wanted one for a while. I saw somebody selling theirs and I jumped on it. I also bought the Axial Pro from the same guy. When it showed up, that copper Unicorn vapes mod was thrown in for free! It also came with a stack section.
I’ve got over a dozen stackable mech mod/extension tubes now but I haven’t jumped into it yet. I’m taking my time but it should be fun. I build all of my own coils from scratch so targeting certain resistance ranges won’t be a problem. I also have series decks for RDAs. Those might come in handy.
