Sorry, @SessionDrummer , forgot to give %. I use it at 4 to 5%.
It’s very strong but after a 2 month steep, the custard and creams mellow it out.
A sweet boozy flavor after that.
I bought 2 because you know, free shipping.
Plus it won’t go bad before I use it all.
Great with orange and cinnamon roll too!
Yes, like the Pillsbury ones in the tube. After baking them you pour the orange glaze that came in the package on them.
My Mom use to make them when I was a kid.
Damn those things were good.
I tried doing a mix a few years ago with FW Cinnamon Roll, FA Blood orange, and LA Cream Cheese Icing but I screwed it up using too much orange. I’ll try again one of these days since now I have many different flavors to work with than I did a few years back.
Maybe with TFA Orange Cream.
Actually I might try this again today.
Maybe drop the Butter Rum down and use the Orange Cream instead of the Blood Orange.
The old mix tasted great on the knuckle but got worse as it steeped.
Yeah, didn’t really need it but I had to get something on a Black Friday sale.
It’s the only purchase I made.
I didn’t know FedEx delivered on Sunday.
I went to set out the garbage can and there was the box on the porch.
Glad I took out the garbage when I did.
I’ve been eyeing this off for a long time but once the Black Friday sale brought it down to $100 (Australian) I thought it was the time to enter the boro world.
Very pleased with the size and weight of it but the proof is in the pudding so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
I do remember you posting you had one so I’m assuming by your post that you did and it didn’t bounce too well?
I am a bit ham fisted and do have a habit of knocking mods over so I’ll have to try and be a little more careful with this one then I think.
