What do you really hate? (II)

What do I really hate? Being away from here for too long. Been MIA for quite a while due to complications with vein surgery on my leg (foot swelling that refuses to go down, even after 4 weeks) and implementing new Microsoft ERP system at work.

I also hate having problems with my computer but now forced to admit I have to stop being tight with money and just bite the bullet and replace my 12 year old HP laptop .

The only upside (with my swollen foot) is that while laying on the couch with my foot raised (trying to get the blood flow back to where it’s supposed to be), I’ve had the opportunity to start reading “The Creature of Jekyll Island” by G. Edward Griffin. I won’t give too much away but if you’re interested in the shenanigans of the Federal Reserve, it’s an eye-opener and explains a lot of what’s going on today.

When you tell people your dad is a serial killer and no one believes you. Until now
 :scream_cat:

When this story broke a few days ago, Stephen King’s movie 1922 shot to the top of the most watched list on Netflix. I guess I wasn’t the only one who saw the correlation.

Stephen King :I need a new story about murder in the Heartland.

@Dardy Hope you recovery fully and glad you are giving yourself a chance to heal. I’m in a similar boat with my 9 year old laptop. I stream everything and watch it on my laptop, so am thinking about getting a new laptop with 4k resolution. I figure more things will be shot and streamed in 4k, so want to go that route. Have been shopping for the past couple of weeks. I tend to research a lot, so it may be a while until I purchase the new one. If I get 9 years out of my next one, I will be thrilled.

Sorry to hear about the vein/foot issues @Dardy. 12 years is a good run.

 I hate that stuff too, took me three months to research/decide what desktop to replace my laptop with - I hope it doesn’t take you that long!

That money is worth as much as toiletpaper, you better exchange it for something that has value, fast :money_mouth_face:
Mind you, seeing people fight over that toiletpaper in 2020, maybe we can print numbers on that.

Sorry about your bum foot. It looks like we’re both fucked :grimacing:

Great book indeed, I’ve read it years ago. It’s a complot (without a) theory.

Hot Mics, “Leaks” etc
I don’t believe them to be truthful at all, I think it’s all intended to be that way to influence people to think they’re reading things that weren’t meant to be heard. Well, I don’t think it’d happen that way, but this segment is interesting:

The Saudi’s and others in the Middle East are fed up with the petrodollar.
When that goes, it is bye, bye US hegemony.

kinda seems like that’s going to happen.

They’ve managed to delay it for some years. The greatest crime that Saddam Hussein committed had nothing to do with human rights, he was willing to sell his oil for euro’s.

Gaddafi was in the process of setting up a bank, together with other African nations, were the money would be based on gold. Libya had loads of gold.
Not anymore now!

All of that would’ve been the end of the petrodollar, so they had to go.
You can’t outrun that which is inevitable, no matter how fast you’re going.

It’s going to be tough times in the US. It will be very hard to swallow for a lot of people.
You only realize you’re privileged when you lose your privilege.

Oh dude, I really like their show
Husband Wife combo, ex journalists and they present citations, past and present, break down the whole contradictions of the outlets stories, etc
Good stuff, I do believe they are sincere but things make me somewhat uncomfortable.

What I really hate is my post was removed
People don’t like Alex Jones for the Sandy Hook thing, but if you look up, “The reason why Alex Jones questioned Sandy Hook” on Rumble. The father who had kids killed there and was joking around and laughing before giving his speech looking at the producer as if to say, “Are we rolling” and then began to be sad

There is no other option. If there were, they would be using it. As for the Gulf, they are very weak countries and the US is the only country that will back them against Iran.

I had to phone the doctor this morning. You always get the option to be called back.
I always wait to see how many I have in front of me. Usually 1 or 2, so I wait.

17 waiting :scream:
I said something about it to the assistent when she phoned me back.
Just curious what she would say, it’s a Monday or something.

She told me it was bizarre how busy it was. She was helping out at the desk today, usually she does something else.

They’ve started the new rounds of :syringe:
Very beneficial these things are

I’m paying over 1100 for rent at my place and if were to move and break contract, It’ll cost me 2 months rent to break contract because I was forced into one because they said I was on disability (discrimination according to the landlord tenancy act).

So not only do these guys not have working heat most of the winter (the boiler goes down atleast 4 times every year), Or no ranged fan so it’s a 2 person job to cook, shower, make toast, etc because someone needs to be under the fire alarm fanning it for when it goes off every time and by the time I pay 40% of my bills, I have no money from my 1600 dollar daily Disability Income.

I have a job but it’s too physically demanding on me and I can’t do it.

That’s a really tough situation @Joel
I have a solution, maybe not the perfect solution?
If you were to plan killing your landlord.
You could receive a life sentence (Canada doesn’t have a death penalty).
You wouldn’t have to pay rent.
You would have a warm cell and place to sleep.
You wouldn’t have to worry about the fire alarm going off when you shower.
You wouldn’t have to work or cook your own meals.
The bonus is the penitentiary has decent medical care. With the ability to watch TV, play cards & occasionally socialize with your neighbors.
