Irresponsible cretins like that don’t deserve to have pets or be in charge of an animal. My dog is like yours and he’s cat friendly because he has been bought up with one but some dogs can’t even be nice with their own species let alone cats. The stupidity of the human race never ceases to amaze me.

Well, what has been pissing me off (and stressing me out too) over the last few weeks is that our landlord, who said we had a “forever” rental, was considering selling the house we are in.
Got confirmation last night that she is definitely doing it, didn’t even have the courtesy to let us know herself, just a letter dropped in our mail box by the selling agent.
So, we have until August to come up with a living arrangement, in a market that has bugger all rentals and those that are out there are out of our reach financially, and get up to 100 applications on them as the availability is so low.
Considering a caravan (van life or trailer trash, take your pick) but then have to find a park that is taking long term site rentals on (contacted 9 so far, no go). All we want is a powered site as we can get the actual van without a proble.
So, the next few months will be “interesting” as we work out our options… I will try not to rant too much here.

That I had an annoying ear infection this week.
So having ears like glue all week but having my high and low pitch range muddled is a bugger.
Normally, I have the insane range of a 12 year old (why I am generally asked to assist on audio and EVP [I could rant about that at length] but when I have an infection, it sounds like there is a strigulating insect in my office.

Thanks mate, the thing is I actually don’t mind changebut my wife stresses about it big time. She has mental health issues that are definitely triggered by stressful situations and this is playing havoc at the moment with her. All I want is to provide her with a safe, stable and positive outcome to this, but it is difficult to juggle looking and the rejection of being turned down whilst keeping her stable as I can emotionally. This is life though, so we will get through it.
The landlord is crying poor due to interest rate rises and inflation, so “has” to sell as she cannot make ends meet. She is also going on a vacation to England for 2 months so I don’t really get that, I guess it’s all relative to the person as she lives in a million dollar house overlooking Adelaide…

Sorry to hear that you have an ear infection @SquirrelSmash. If I’m not mistaken you have mentioned this troubling you before, have you been diagnosed with Eustachian tube dysfunction? You must have very sensitive hearing being able to hear EVP recordings, I’m fascinated with things like that and follow an excellent British YouTube channel called Ghostech Paranormal. They go to different locations around the country to do scientific research, some of their findings are astounding especially EVP’s. There’s no silly screaming or running away nonsense unlike many channels. Maybe you have already heard of them.

Yes I am aware of this group and their channel. They are a bunch who generally try to be sceptical, which is not easy when you perceive something in near total darkness which you don’t have obvious control over.
I must admit that most EVPs are clearly mislabelled. A class A must be a "clear and distinct voice or sound that is universally accepted and undisputed, because it must be understood by anyone with normal hearing and without being told or prompted to what is being said or heard. It can be heard without the use of headphones.” I also add the clauses that this cannot be the result of a device which randomly scans radio frequencies or relies on the variance in atmospheric conditions to trigger a preprogramed dictionary. Finally, the recording must be clearly and directly related to a question or statement which made in the preceding minute: to the extent that all would class it as an intelligent response.

Thanks for your concern.
It is mostly due to rupturing an eardrum during scuba training around 25 years ago. So, I have a tendency to get an infection which travels around my sinuses for a week or so. Currently the ear is mostly back to normal and the rest is following suit.
