What Do You Really Hate? (III)

Wow! So how is the new product, LP SmartSide now? That’s what the shed is made out of. They offer a 50 yr guarantee on it which I thought was extremely generous. I’m conflicted.

You appear to me as a most even tempered person. What is it like when you get pushed beyond your tolerance? (This question could be a trap. Proceed cautiously  )

I use to tell people that bought prefinished hardwood that the warranty is worth ad much as the paper its written on…

For a shed i i wouldnt have to much concern…LP siding is on houses today and the smartside is supposed to be better but i wouldnt use it on my home. A shed sure , there are recalls and same issues as there were in the 80s and 90s so…

Don’t know about you but I use the IA and have been able to read lots of books that I borrow from their free library.

I don’t trust it, too much information gathered through that technology and no insight about who’s controlling it and for what purpose.
I have an e-reader with an external memory slot. I have been able to read lots of books that I download from the free Internet.

I found the speech btw.

Mental health should be the headline subject rather the gun control. The man obviously needed help and no one noticed.

Been a lot of that going around the past couple of decades.

Like what? What are you talking about?

I’m talking about the information IA gathers about you and the way you think. We are facing things like shields of democracy and wrongthink.
Even just reading books via that technology will tell them volumes about you.
I rather keep my thoughts to myself in this day and age. Might be safer in the long run.

Do you mean AI (artificial intelligence)? I was talking about IA (internet archive) To my knowledge, they’re just an online library that’s been around way before artificial intelligence was even considered.

I was searching for a brand of bidet called Tushy. What I didn’t know is that the website is hellotushy.com. I typed something close and landed in a porn site and had full screen footage of naked people getting bumfucked. Okay, how many of you are going to start searching? I’ll tell you, it wasn’t pretty!

I must’ve gone dyslectic.

I thought something didn’t sound right there. I was getting lambasted for promoting a library  I thought you had gone off the rails.

The good news followed by bad news. 3 sudden deaths in one day. One, a veteran who worked in a vet’s hospital as a respiratory technician. He was checking on a patient and went down. Couldn’t help him…60 yrs old. Then a married couple found dead in their home. We don’t know the details yet, waiting to hear from a mutual friend. Around in their 50s. This one doesn’t sound good at all, wtf?
