MUH BABIES ARE HOME!!! Finally we’re a family again!
Beyond happy for you!
I don’t know your story here but returning babies are always good news!! I won a nasty custody battle for my daughter back in October and she is with me now so I get your joy!
Congratulations on whatever it is!
Oh yeah SD; Wine, Worcestershire, Red Hot Sauce, and Pickles. Right up my ally!
I’m looking for an affordable blower to clean off my patio. Any recommendations?
I have Blooom pinned to my shelf but I never looked into them. Do you have an account there? At some point I need to stop neglecting what’s left of my retirement and do something! Lol
Lol yes @muth. I’m testing out Blooom vs. Traditional methods, and so far, done very good. Once the big COVID hit happened, stayed the course and kept buying super low priced shares, and now I’m watching all that payoff.
Nothing is worse for 401ks (or any investments) than the “set it and forget it” approach. Highly recommend Blooom.
This I what I picked up. I went with gas so I could eventually blow off my roof and don’t want to deal with battery powered tools.
@muth , I have a backpack blower for Leaves in the fall, and also a leaf Vac / chipper, but I picked up a Ryobi 18V battery powered blower / trimmer combo a couple years ago and for just doing the sidewalks / decks during the summer the blower is the best thing since sliced bread, the trimmer is great, I don’t even use my gas trimmer anymore, and I got a bunch of Ryobi tools so always have batteries on hand. Thinking I got the combo for like 69 bucks at the time, was a great deal !

Thank you. I saw the PM and PM’d you back with a couple of questions but you answered one already
Thank you Chris. Looks like a good deal for an Echo.
Thanks Rocky. I own Ryobi tools, too. I know it defeats the purpose but I wish there were wired leaf blowers. I switched from a gas mower to electric some years ago. Took me awhile to adjust but once I got it down I love the idea of always having a power source. My trimmer shit the crib so maybe this is worth a second look. If you say it works great I have to believe you. The battery doesn’t poop out after 20-30 minutes?
I’ve been using an old Toro electric for about 17 years. Never cleaned it, never had to take it apart or replace anything on it and it still keeps blowing. It came with a bag you can hookup to the blower and the nozzle to the intake to make it a vacuum to suck up the piles. Love this thing! I thought about upgrading to a battery model, but those things are expensive to replace and so are the chargers if they go bad. I’m a cheapskate…
I think Ryobi has a wired blower also, I have no problems with battery life and do trimming on about a half acre property, the blower I just use to clean the grass Clippings off the walks and deck, it’s not powerful enough to blow heavy piles of leaves in the fall.
What’s made me smile? The footy season (Aust NRL aka Rugby League) has restarted. Plus my team (those magnificent Men from Bondi aka Sydney Roosters) finally won a game. Plus we beat our arch rivals the South Sydney Rabbitohs (aka the Bunnies). BTW, the crowd noise you hear has been added in digitally as we can’t have actual crowds (but y’all knew that already). Life is good again .
P.S. I think all our American friends should adopt the Roosters as their Aust NRL team simply because their colours are Red, White and Blue .
