WHAT Has Made You Smile Today? (III)

Oh, it is an open secret that the European Parliament runs on cocaine. I only take objection to utterly unreliable sources. I think my years of studying legal history made me a stickler for dismissing anything without clear merit or was infallible.

That’s my stance on all politicians

Well I ascribe to the Douglas Adams approach myself:

“Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.”

Only realising now that the UK is on BST. It certainly explains why I woke up and hour later than usual today and why the sky just seemed a tad ‘off’.

Getting close to finishing an epic mini project. I think there are only another 5 hours to go on shading, details, highlights and adding a tad more blossom.

This one is part of one of my personal armies and not a commission - the only reason why I’d spend over 100 hours on a single model.

This made me laugh out loud actually, instead of smile.
Am I still allowed to post it?

Agreed. I wish I had that much patience.

She’s cute, a bit big, but sexy.

Thanks. It is still missing the eye and brain melting final details. One being replicating a painting in a gem stone 0.25mm across. But it is for Mrs. Squirrel (I resculpted it to look more like her) and I’ll use it as examples of my eccentric methods.

The 9 distinct reflection and refraction patterns in the dress probably burnt out a section of my mind. I think it maybe the one which held the names of all apes with impressive talents outside of sign language: so not a vital drawer in my memory.

She’s yours for 200 for 30 minutes. If you finish early, it still a pair of Benjamins.

Thanks. Just building up the blossom one by one almost made me scream.

I’m sure she knows how to give great head.

Her’s is certainly on the Neil Patrick Harris scale of needing a separate credit: I prefer to list Neil Patrick Harris and his forehead as separate characters.

Such great head.

Got a gift yesterday. Someone left it on the train. I looked it up, 110 euro.

Interesting view. At least you can’t see the spiderwebs.

Just felt the need to have a look in my garden and saw a ladybird about to drown in a bucket of rainwater.

Drying out now

My neighbors pup got loose and was scratching at my door yesterday so I brought her in until they got back. Only they haven’t been back. All their stuff is here in the yard so I don’t know whats going on. It’s been a while since I’ve had to take care of a pup and forgot how much energy they have. I’m pretty sure this one is a Rhodisian Ridgeback as it has the tell tale mohawk down it’s back. Cant be more than three or four months old and she gets into EVERY EFFING THING. Still, shes making me smile. All my dogs except one have been gone due to old age so it’s nice to see some high energy around here. I don’t even know her name so I’ve just been calling her “No!”.

They are lovely. A friend of mine has just got himself another RR pup. Now he has two.

Mine is usually called “Down!”.
An overly friendly Labrador with springs in her back legs. Overly friendly until I was too ill to walk and she flat out refused to leave the house without me.
As long as I’m around, she loves everyone.

I had the same with my dogs. The last one of the 3 dogs I had was almost 20 when she died.
Deaf, mostly blind, wouldn’t react when I entered the house.
She just didn’t hear me.
I always had to check to see if she was still alive.

It is rather depressing. Getting a pup, being greeted by a happy dog is really something else.
She’s 4 now but she makes me smile every day.
