WHAT Has Made You Smile Today? (III)

I hear ya Jose. I’ve always had a dog in my life. It’s a necessity. I think animals make me a better human. At one time I had four dogs. Two I adopted and two that adopted me. All of them had unique personalities and all of them made me laugh even when they frustrated the shit out of me.
I hope this little ones owners return soon. I’m getting rather attached to her.

In that case lets hope they don’t come back at all
They obviously don’t deserve her leaving her like that.

This bit in particular completely cracked me up.

“In a follow-up post, she said she was left crying for over an hour and said “my balls still hurt so bad,” according to a screenshot from the Daily Mail.”

Another one!

Hamza Umar h.elmearaoui@wolfhead.com
Greetings,

I am Mr. Hamza Umar Director of bills/exchange at the foreign remittance department of The Access Bank UK Ltd.

I personally discovered an inactive domiciliary account worth USD106,532,000.000 (One Hundred And Six Million Five Hundred And Thirty Two Thousand United States Dollars Only) from our late customer during our Bank’s Annual Account Auditing.

Since the death of the deceased, nobody has operated this account till date. Definitely, our Banking code of ethics will confiscate this fund if it remains inactive for a period of years without any claims.

In this regard, I earnestly need your full cooperation in transferring this money out of our bank to avoid our bank confiscating this fund. Our sharing ratio will be 50% for you and 50% for me.

Should you be interested to work with me on this project Kindly get back to me for more information and Guidelines and if you are not interested, please don’t bother responding.

Yours sincerely,
Mr. Hamza Umar
Director of bills/exchange
At;The Access Bank UK Ltd

Dear Mr Umar,

Could you please send this money to the US government? I think they could really use it.

Nah, I just gave it away. When I see all these people scurrying to safeguard their possessions, gold, silver, bitcoin…

That’s one headache too many. I like the simple life.

I’m getting the distinct impression that it’s almost Easter. Quite hard to keep up with in my condition, especially since there are Easter eggs for sale since January
Combined with some whipped cream this will do me nicely. Easter or not!
I never drink alcohol, a little will go a long way

The power of the simple Sunday Roast: Solid rustic cooking always travels well.

Absolutely smiling here Squirrel. Personally I always did a delete on the carrots and replaced it with roasted parsnips. Add a tablespoon or two of gravy in the middle of the Yorkshire pud. :heavy_check_mark:

Had no clue how amazing a sunday roast is when i stepped on this island. America has no clue what they are missing out on.

I hope your speaking for yourself. Sunday dinner has been like that for me all my life. My mom always made large dinner’s and my wife’s family was no different. Only difference now is what beef roast is on sale and who gets to the roast first, me or my wife. She prefers the classic meal and I turn it into classic Chicago Italian beef.

Its the beef roast, roasted potatoes roasted onions yorkshires literally roast everything lol. Do it with pork chicken sausages its the roasties that are the key to the meal. Roast potatoes are the best way to eat potatoes. I just another level to what i have had or seen in america in my 45 years there. We as americans missed a trick or two thats for sure. Plus the beef in the uk is far superior then in the states

Or go for a giant Yorkshire with meat, gravy and other small Yorkshires inside.

It is one institution which we take very seriously here. Just mention your choice of potato and a long debate will begin. I personally go for boiling rooster potatoes, drain and allow them to cool. Then put them in a tray of seasoned duck fat which has been preheated to 160c, then into the oven at 215c for 35 mins. This really helps to seal in the fluffy middle and gives them a mighty crunch.

Yes yes buddy. I boil them for about 20 min from cold water let them steam up in the colander for about 30 min while the oven heats up to 170-180c based on what im cooking. Heat roasting tray with olive oil Im not extravagant adding duck fat (sounds great though). Put those tatoes in Brush them them up nice then drop beef, pork, or sausages. Just :yum::yum::yum::yum::yum::yum::yum::yum::yum::yum::yum: btw im having a roast dinner tonight. A roast chicken dinner lol

No idea about Americans, but Canadians weren’t even commonly aware of Bread Sauce which is also fantastic with Turkey. (Gotta count the cloves you put in and remove.)
