What to do with used cotton

@Guido_Possum with how much Nicotine costs, I can only see going down in strength.

I would’ve been nic sick the first night regardless the strength or type of nicotine: trying half a dozen juices in an afternoon after not vaping for 8 months.

Guido, man, I just can’t understand going from zero to 50 after not vaping for 8 months unless you were a hardcore 2 pack a day, yellow stained fingers, and clothes where people could smell you ten feet away. If that was you, congrats :tada:

Otherwise, in a sane world cutting your nic level is king. :crown: I haven’t said what that level is as we’re all different. Good luck man :+1: Canada says hello and welcome :maple_leaf:

You think starting at 0mg/mL would’ve given me a better chance of successfully quitting to smoke than 50?

Think I should’ve worked my way up from 0 to 50?

  • Being commercial juices, they taste better undiluted
  • Any time I’ve sworn off smoking in the past, I’ve ordered 6-12mg freebase and ended up alternating between smoking and vaping without stopping the former: since 12mg+ is too much random coughing to consistently vape while 6mg feels like sucking in air after one day - anything less than that and you end up spending more time filling your tank than actually vaping.
  • 50mg salts require just a few puffs at a time - compared to the half a mL of liquid you need coat your lungs with every time you inhale huge clouds @ 100W with barely any nicotine in it.
  • I primarily vape for the nicotine - not to saturate my lungs in VG/PG.
  • You don’t have to recharge nearly as often.
  • You don’t have to fill your tank or drip nearly as often.
  • The lung feel is exactly like real tobacco smoke, so cigarettes instantly have no leverage to draw you back.
  • You don’t need to be nearly so attached to your vaporizer because you’re getting so much nicotine in a few hits you can forget about it for the same length of time you would’ve gone between smokes.
  • Which means people don’t have to continue cringing through stupid ‘hand-check’ photos so many feel a misguided need to post because the device isn’t constantly in your hand like a child with its favourite current toy.
  • less scrolling past pointless pics of mod and tank combos for everyone because your device becomes simply a delivery system for nicotine: not a vacuous statement on how your vaporizer expresses you ‘as a person’.

What else…

And sure those last few points are more a general rant not aimed at anyone specifically, because I do not like repetitious, cheesy photos of vaporizers that’re almost always common as dirt mods and tanks and I do not understand why anyone would think anyone else wants to look at a picture of another production-line voodoo, smok, geekvape or nespresso mod/pod/combo/tank.

Unless they’re truly original or hand-made or beautifully crafted devices - I like photos of those - but the vast majority are simply photos of ordinary vaporizers that vaporize.

We have no Tobacco Settlement like the US does girl, so that argument doesn’t fly.
Something weird is going on.

What kinda weird do you hypothesize is going on, if not a simple money grab?

Certainly governments are giving us shit in multiple countries - think the UK is the only place pops in my head that’s not making life difficult for vapers…

That kinda weird.

Oooh.

Hmm… they’ve had plain packaging with dying babies and cancer patients on tobacco products here for years…

All the retail stores that sell any of it - including tobacconists - have also had these white cupboards with roller shutters or doors covering all the smokes inside and now I think of it they’re always closed when you ask for tobacco or smokes, with the checkout staff having to open and close it each time they get something out.

Never really thought about that cupboard thing before, but it’s also never stopped anyone selling tobacco products - just seems to be they’ve gotta keep them covered behind the roller-shutter/ doors.

We have those too for years now but the tobacco products were always visibly on display in shops.

It’s only recently that they’ve started to lock them away and out of sight.

I just found this video from a guy proving that masks don’t work with a vaping device.
Another reason to stomp down on it :sunglasses:

Eating doesn’t work with a mask either!

Someone better crack-down on that :no_mouth:

Speaking of which, here’s dinner tonight - noodles, lightly fried in sesame seed oil: fresh garlic, fresh onion plus some that dried & fried shallots, Chinese 5-spice, bit of grated palm sugar and a dash of high quality brewed soy sauce …

No politicians can ruin my noodles :smirk:

Oh and broccoli.

And beans obviously.

@Josephine_van_Rijn @delltrapp yeah it’s pretty good for white-guy noodles from scratch :upside_down_face:

The sweet & sour from the palm sugar & soy sauce plus sesame oil = all the flavour base you need

And half the fresh onion I finely chopped but left it until the noodles were cooked and heat turned off: then tossed it through do that half the onion remained crunchy and, fresh.

Having said that, I’ve already stuffed a whole plateful in and cannot fit anymore… exactly the kind of thing a dog would be good for.

@delltrapp if you’re really from Indonesia, you wouldn’t have to worry about ANY bans there I spose?

Nice one @muth. No, seriously, this is exactly what I’d do in the worst case scenario. I vape 10mg and have enough nic in the freezer to last me roughly 10 years or so. I could extend that another couple of years if I dropped the nic level some (but not much). Now if the SHTF and I had some go off or I ran out earlier than expected, the “chewing gum and vape at the same time” hack would definitely come into play.

Let’s hope we get a change of government @Guido_Possum and a change of attitude (policy) whereby we’re able to import nic liquid legally. Yeah mate, I’m grasping at straws I know .

Mate, ya want to get more than a year’s supply in your freezer. Getting this BS legislation reversed “might” take a little longer. Too many half-wits on the take running the show. As I mentioned above, I’ve got about 10 years worth at home. Better safe than sorry brah :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.

Here in Australia the gooberment get approximately $1.10 tax revenue per cigarette :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:. You’re spot on there, it’s all about the dollars.

That fuckin’ worm Greg Hunt.

@Dardy we gotta kill him dood: the next health minister will think twice before giving vapers shit.

And here I was having an enjoyable night and you had to go mention that dick :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:. Just kiddin’ mate . I don’t hate many people in this world but I sure as hell hate him. I wonder if he was picked on at school? If so, that might explain a few things. Anyway, I’m off to bed in readiness for the second day of our (Perth’s) 5-day lockdown. Just love wearing a mask sitting at my desk :persevere:. Cheers.

Parler and their child porn can kiss my ass. Plus there are other cockamamie videos proving that masks do work. I have a friend who’s a doctor working at Boston Medical Center and I’ll take whatever advice she gives me. I trust my friend. What I want to know is, if these damn masks don’t work why do surgeons wear them when they’re cutting us open? Nothing makes sense anymore. Still, I think I want my surgeon wearing a mask if he sneezes over my open guts.

Our “health” minister: Greg Hunt.

Exactly, that’s what they are for, to stop doctors drooling in your wound.
The surgical masks were originally made to protect doctors from patients with TBC, which is a bacteria, not a virus.

Even N95 masks don’t stop a virus.

As for Parler, I doubt they had more child porn than FB.
