Mixed these up tonight for my Christmas juice, I’ve done boozy custard mixes for the last two years so we’re changing it up this holiday season.

My recently revised version of a Banana cream custard
Tied the bakery notes together with Almond, Hazelnut and Cinn. Custard bridges the creams. Meringue as a nice note outside the range. Butterscotch is my attempt to caramelize the banana. I think it has a nice delicate balance going on!

I have come to the conclusion that I can’t get my doughnut flavor unless I come up with it myself. So my mixing for today is probably going to smack me in the face. I remarked earlier that baked bread RFSC was so strong at 0.15% that it took over my entire bottle. SO I decided to take a page out of @anon84779643’s hand book and try something else with it. I’m going to use 1 drop per 15 and see if that gives me the “bready” part of the doughnut recipe I love but feel it’s missing a little dough. If that doesn’t work, then I’ll try some AP. So here’s what I’m thinking, and if someone has tried this already and knows more … please offer advice LOL. It is my determination to create the PERFECT glazed doughnut and I will not fail hahahaha.
15 ml tester for doughnut
Baked Bread (RF SC) 1 drop
Zeppola (FA) 2%
Sugar Daddy Rick Reg 1%
Vanilla Custard (cap) 2%
Seriously if you have ideas (and I have the flavor in my stash) I will try them LOL
PS. If it works it’s really going to SUCK if I can’t get that RF concentrate again.
I’m vaping this all the time but it’s missing some bready flavor. Maybe I should just add a drop of baked bread to this?

1 drop per 15 is 2 drops in 30… if that is too much then 1 drop in 30…
You are working with a bread flavor… do not expect it to be a donut 
AP will not give you a note for soft yeast dough…
for doughy note ideas, more than welcome to comb thru mine

Have you tried OOO glazed donut? I had given up on a donut flavor, even after getting the OOO flavor, but then I re-tested my sft of it at a month and it was damn near perfect glazed donut…it’s the only flavor I have tried that really truly needs a full month, it has some strange almost fruity off-notes all the way up to the 3 week mark lol

Okay found Fried Dough RF SC that I had in my stash. Ordered Sweet Dough (FLV) I have Zeppola (FA) some of this should work dang it… I will not sleep until my quest is complete LOL (such a lie because I love sleep)

Just gave this a try at the 10 day steep mark, think I’ll lower vcv1 to 1% and increase flv cream to 1% in the next batch and I imagine it will be perfect…

Work in progress, just cracked this open after 12 day steep and I’m happy where it’s going. Working with what I have. Any suggestions? Needs more Mango and maybe sub the Dragonfruit with Jackfruit (TPA)
