What have YOU done for ELR lately ? What's ELR mean to you?

It’s a pleasure. I absolutely love this site, and, to repeat myself again, I’ve learnt so much from it, (and I’ll probably keep repeating myself). Invaluable.

Don’t mean to be an ass, so please don’t take this the wrong way, but years ago, I had an argument with a friend, who said she’d been “conversating” with someone. I politely informed her that “conversating” is not a word. You’d think it should be, but it isn’t. It just took me back years and made me laugh. So thank you for making me feel young again, even if it was short lived.

I’ve just noticed that you’ve liked 9 of my posts. That’s really flattering, as you are one of my heroes on this site. I LOVE your sft notes, they are very informative, helpful and money saving. I trust your opinion on all things vaping. So, thanks again, and have a good day.

I went right into DIY too 5 days after I started vaping back in 2014 but I still dont consider myself a pro as there will always be new things with DIY… like flavors for one. I think alot of people that try to get into DIY, they ask many Qs cause they didnt take the time to research (read forums, watch videos, read articles like I did at the beginning). They want help but they dont want to put the work in & try to go the easy route. Ive seen some that jump right in then expect their ejuice to come out perfect. That would be awesome but we all know that rarely happens LOL I think the best part with DIY,is trying out new recipes from other DIY’rs,getting creative with recipes & saving $. My roomie, he still buys commerical cause he doesnt think DIY is good enough. Its crazy that they dont realize that most vendors steal our recipes or is a DIY’r theselves  I have tried to help many people thru out these years & have brought a good handful to ELR

Thank you very much for the kind words @Steve68. It’s always great to hear that reviews can help others out. I hope you’ve tried a few, to make sure our tastes are similar.

Hey Lars  I’ve snooped around the forum here & there over the years but never commented on anything till today  Not sure why it took me this long to say something on it

We’re kinda “bitey”! Nah, everyone here are awesome - we get in heated arguments, but what family doesn’t  I hope you’ll find that it’s a nice place to visit (often) :joy:

Haha there is something wrong with a family if there isnt any healthy debates…or as you say “heated arguments” I’ll def come visit the forums more often,or at least comment more when I do… and maybe start making my recipes public to share…right now,I only have 1 so far. Didnt think my recipes are good enough as I didnt want people to bash me cause they didnt like it.

You can always bounce recipes off of people here  No pressure of course  This place is so much different than the semi-anonymous facebook group

How is it different?

I have yet to post any recipes on the fb group…I did share my public recipe on my post today that I made about a recipe being accidentally deleted…which I believe was the 1st time I ever did that. I notice many of the recipes that get shared on fb,many people dont comment on them. Maybe it’ll get a few likes but that is about it.

I would think sharing a recipe in the forums, you’d be getting more of a response from experience DIY’rs & on the ELR fb group, i notice more noobies respond to recipes. I may be wrong, but that is what I observed.
