I was going to say I have no Alcohol, but looking at SD’s recipe I do have vanilla Bourbon (FA). Thanks SD !!

Well @Mix_and_Hope I think it’s safe to say it’s more Bourbon-y in name than taste.

 Lol, you crack me up. What brand Guava is it because I just bought my first Guava flavor. I’m not big on fruit mixes though I happen to love fruits, go figure. I used to use Quince Jelly (SC)(WF) to make watery/thin juice more like a thick nectar, Don’t know how it would react with Guava. It has somewhat of a pear/apple note to it.

As for all your dripping, you know they say it’s your mistakes that sometimes lead you to new discoveries. Good luck with that “new” French Toast

I’ll join forces with you. I decided to stay 100% true cocktail, especially after seeing all those bakery mixes. I haven’t posted yet because I have 2 versions I need to test and I’ve had a busy week getting in the way of my vape life. I look forward to seeing your contribution.

its a type of vanilla i believe grown either in the indian ocean or around . Since there srent any rules feel free to use it or make a Virgin something or yiu can make a wine with fruit andbuse Liquid Amber or something . Just have fun

It’s SSA Guava. Not a bad flavor, it’s like it overtook the mix and then got weak though. Could be another mystery with the coil I have installed in that tank too not giving enough flavor. Tasted okay the other day, for some reason I just can’t really taste it now.

That’s what I got. Sounds like a down steeper. Oh well, most of my fruit mixes are SnV anyway.

What pct did you use? You didn’t mention that.

I used 2% but that turned out to be way too much. The other flavors brought it down and I tried to raise it back up, but really I was looking to add a tart note to it. It just tastes too “dark,” I was looking for something more bright and punchy.

Yes, I think 1% is the recommended usage, iirc. Again, taste is subjective but @SessionDrummer notes on it were pretty accurate and detailed. Maybe a different guava will work for you or you can find something to brighten it up for you? But I’m not the fruit expert, that’s all I can offer.

Try any or all of the following to help with guava. A bit of mango, melon, or papaya for the texture, and a bit of lemon, lime, or passion fruit, to help with the brightness. You don’t really want to taste the additions, and ideally you’ll be able to get the result you were after without going too off profile. Start with one drop / 10ml, and work your way up from there.

I had a Rootbeer Fudge going for last month but things took a turn in my life and i had to set it aside.

This month ive got this curing:

Gus N Bru and a Dart - #ELRMarMix*

0.50% Bourbon (Aged Cream) (SC) (WF)
0.40% Bourbon (Flavorah)
0.20% Heat (Flavorah)
0.60% Mild Tobacco (Flavorah)
0.30% Sweet and Smokey Tobacco (Flavorah)

Flavor total: 2%

Ill give it a go in a week or so.

The Pink Lemonade i made for January turned out excellent.

Things took a turn for me, too. I’m ready to build my RDA and test two variations of my mix but I fell sick this morning. Hoping it’s just a short cold :crossed_fingers:
