I had the exact same hesitation @Letitia. I read the few notes that were available back then, decided to drop some cash, and really haven’t have any where I regretted it. The MF SB is quite a bit (in my opinion) weaker than most, if not all of their other offerings, which pushed it into the “costs too much and I have to use too much” camp, but about every other has been just as strong as I was led to believe, clean, accurate, and good, and well worth the money. Because they ARE much stronger than most other flavors, you do use far less of them, which really pushes the price point down. I had to keep that in mind every time I was adding them to my cart, adding up all the prices, and what I didn’t realize was I was always considering the cost, for normal flavor usage, but I ended up using far less than normal.
NR is having a 24hr flash sale today on all flavors, code JUNEFLAVORS. Broke down and ordered the MF lemon. Ordered the FLV boysenberry I’ve been holding off on as well. Kinda glad I’m about broke, I don’t need have room for much more.
Are you a first time MF lemon user ??? If so remember its very strong , like a drop in 30ml will be there throughout your recipe … I have personally went up to .33pct which wasn’t necessary
I have the mandarin, was a bit disappointed but did some more reading and going to try it again. Turns out the mandarin is better at a higher percentage. I’m a lemon junkie and couldn’t resist after reading all the posts about that one. Thanks for the tip.
No joke, @Letitia! This one is 18 days steeped and the Lemon is prevalent, but a very warm baked dessert Lemon type of effect in this setting. You scored a winner, for sure!
Im not sure MF wants to sell smaller bottles …their business model is set , there are distributors like river supply that can sell smaller bottles … The Vaping industry is probably less than 5pct of MFs business…
Sorry, I realise this thread hasn’t seen any action for a while but I have a quick question if I may.
Are the MF flavors on RS that state “This is the water soluble version of this flavour” the Premium version we can use? If so, I’ll order some so I can get on this here bandwagon . Cheers.
These came out right before MF released their new formulations. They do have the vegetable-based PG in them, like the original line and new Premium line.
If I recall correctly, I read that RS was helping MF with reformulating their flavors. @Nicotine_River would be the best to ask, of course. If, they are operating CS right now. Maybe they’ll jump in here.
I say go for it, as they’re either OG or new Premium. Maybe wait to hear from the horse’s mouth, though.
I believe so @Dardy. I have to admit to being confused after MF split into 3 lines, Premium, Gold, Silver. But the Premium …
Flavors - Premium Line
Medicine Flower Genuine Flavors have been known and loved by many since their introduction in 2008. We have recently added new products and made some changes. Our Premium Flavor Line is a new addition to our products and is replacing our old Genuine Flavor line and will most closely match the old line in flavor and concentration.
These flavors are made following the same highly concentrated format with very similar all natural plant derived active constituents that were used in our original line. The base for this line is a bio-based PG which is derived from Vegetable Oil. These flavors are food grade and excellent for use in culinary, scent and cosmetic applications. Water and oil soluble, they are highly concentrated and do not contain any colorants, artificial preservatives, sugar, or calories and are wheat and gluten free.
A few drops is all it takes to flavor anything from baked goods, shaved ice, tea, coffee drinks, ice cream, desserts and smoothies. Try a drop or two in your drinking water with ice for a refreshing gourmet treat! They also work well for scenting massage oils or lotions, balms, bath oils, soaps and candles.
These Premium Flavors are very potent. Consistent comparisons with other products on the market show our flavor potency being many times stronger than traditionally marketed flavors. Generally, 1-5 drops of our flavors equal up to a teaspoon of other flavors.
Was looking around and many of our old links are broken now, and thought we should get NEW links/suppliers for Medicine Flower for those interested. US, Europe, Canada, Australia, etc.
